Highlander Baseball Camps presents a Baseball Summer Kids Camp starting on Monday, July 13, 2020 through Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Calfee Park in Pulaski, VA meeting from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm daily. The Highlander Kids Camp is an exciting way to learn the basic skills of baseball taught by the Radford University baseball program. Each player will go through hitting, fielding, base running, throwing techniques and drills to help them improve their game. Overall, this camp is designed to make your child a better baseball player on and off the field. Instruction includes: • Four Days of Quality Baseball Instruction • Games & Drills For Use At Home • Camp T-shirt • Four Hours of Fun Each Day Highlander Baseball Camps was created by Radford University Baseball Head Coach Karl Kuhn in the fall of 2019. Highlander Baseball Camps are organized and executed with an overall goal of teaching the proper techniques and skills for player development and most importantly improving in all phases of the game. We pride ourselves in creating a fun environment and players wanting to learn the Radford way. The Radford way is a staple of our baseball program and includes being unselfish, discipline, and having great energy to get better! The camp is for ages 8-14 in grades 2nd-8th. Due to the coronavirus, we will be taking registrations for future events with $0.00 down and automatic payment scheduled closer to the start date of the event as detailed during registration. Daily check-in is at 7:45 am each morning. If a parent cannot pick up their child at the end of camp, Highlander Baseball Camps can provide child care if needed.
