American Legion Post 3 presents their 100 Years of Service Fundraiser 5K Run / Walk and 1K Fun Run on Saturday, November 14, 2020 starting and ending at the Salem Red Sox Haley Toyota Field. Event Schedule: • 9:30-10:45 am: Race Day Packet Pick Up and Day of Registration • 10:30 am: Fun Run • 11:00 am: 5k Run begins • 12:15 pm: Awards Ceremony American Legion Post 3 hosts the 5k and 1k Run/Walk Fundraiser to benefit veteran and youth programs. We will have craft vendors, food vendors, farmers market vendors, Marine Corp and music on site. We will also be holding raffle ticket drawings throughout the day. Our biggest attraction is the Macaroni Kid Roanoke Kid Zone. In addition, there will be Legion information tents setup as well as our own Legion Riders and Women`s Auxiliary on site. The 5k is for ages 14 and up and the cost is $25.00 per person if you register by Sunday, November 8th and $30.00 after. Awards will be given for the top male and female runners as well as age group awards. Parking and admission is free unless you are a runner or vendor.
