The Floyd Country Store premieres the 2021 Friday Night Backyard Jamboree with The Little Stony Nighthawks outside on Friday, April 9, 2021. The Little Stony Nighthawks are a high-energy old time string band performing early bluegrass and country music from Pembroke, Virginia and Boone, North Carolina. Members of the band include Steve Kruger (fiddle), Trevor McKenzie (guitar), Brandon Holder (bass) and Aaron Ratcliffe (banjo). Link: https://www.facebook.com/LittleStonyNighthawks Admission is free with a suggested donation of $8.00 in support of the musicians. Join us on Friday evenings behind the Floyd Country Store for a live show with some of our favorite old time string bands! The Backyard Jamboree features one band performing for two hours starting at 6:00 pm. The entrance is located down the alley between the Floyd Country Store and Angels In The Attic. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Seating opens at 5:30 pm and the music starts at 6:00 pm. No dogs allowed, no alcohol allowed. You will be required to wear face masks when moving around the space. You may remove your mask while in your chair. These concerts are contingent upon good weather. If we have rain or thunderstorms, the events will be canceled.
