Jessie Peterman Library presents a Sign Language Class for Beginners on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. This program is open to all who are interested in learning the basics of sign language, including (D)eaf individuals as well as CODAs (Children of Deaf Adults) so that everyone can have an opportunity to experience native signers. This will be an ongoing program with an understanding that practice is vital to learning and that we all learn in different ways and at different rates. Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
