Description:
The Radford University Art Department will be hosting two advance screenings of the sixth season of the Peabody Award-Winning Documentary, "Art in the Twenty-First Century", on April 3 and April 4, from 6 – 7:30 pm, in the Bondurant Auditorium in Preston Hall.
Boundaries, the episode on April 3, features artists who explore shape-shifting cross-overs in form and media. The April 4 episode, History, features artists who have made trauma, bodies and issues of race and culture the subject of their artistic investigations.
All of the artists in this series are exciting and critically influential in today’s art world. If you haven’t met them in real life, meet them in these films and join in a discussion when they end.
Both screenings are free and open to the public.
