Description:
In an effort to bring to Southwest Virginia the kind of craft fair or street market one might find in a larger city, Jessica Jones has launched a series of street markets to be held in Downtown Blacksburg. The Burnt Creative Vintage and Indie Craft Market will feature local and regional vendors offering vintage and handcrafted clothing, jewelry, accessories, housewares, furniture, and much more. The first market date will be Saturday, April 7th.

The Burnt Creative Market will take place on Roanoke Street between Draper Road and Otey Street near the Blacksburg Farmers Market. More than 20 local crafters and vintage vendors will be on hand.

The Burnt Creative Market is an attempt to breathe new life into a traditional-style craft fair. Every effort has been made to showcase artisans not usually represented at local craft fairs and festivals. The vintage component of this fair was added as a way to present vintage finds in a unique curated collection. It also ties in with the vendors who “upcycle” vintage goods into fresh handcrafted products.
