Mothers and daughters, ages 9 years to 12 years, enjoy an evening out with the girls. We’ll discuss The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairlyland in a Ship of Her Own Making by Catherynne M. Valente. A young girl named September is whisked away by a Green Wind and sails off to experience adventures beyond her wildest dreams. Compared to Alice in Wonderland and The Golden Compass, this is a story written to captivate many ages. We’ll have snacks, conversation and crafts too!
