PK's Bar & Grill welcomes Mercutio to the stage.

Lynchburg's Mercutio is a rock, folk, pop band consisting of friends Michael Chagnon and Geoffrey Osborne. Both formed separate bands while in high school and met following a performance of Michael's group Escape Velocity.

Michael and Geoffrey played for the first time as an acoustic act at their only performance in 2008. Finishing out their studies in 2009 and following a week-long Florida tour they both released self-titled compilations and began touring Virginia as an acoustic duo full-time. They gave their first interview as a group in November of 2009 to WNRN 91.9 FM out of Charlottesville, Virginia. By the end of 2010 Michael and Geoffrey had done over 70 performances in twelve months and expanded their regular touring circuit out to North Carolina and Maryland. In 2011 they completed recording their first collaborative effort and named the band “Mercutio”.

Since then they’ve focused their efforts on songwriting while maintaining their demanding touring schedule. Mercutio have over 100 performances under their belts in 2011 with many, many more to come.
