Join the first annual Festival of Trails - celebrating the outdoor recreational opportunities and scenic beauty of Bland County on Saturday, May 26th! The event is free and open to the public and will be held at the Bland County Fairgrounds from 9 am to 8 pm.

Visit with vendors to learn how you can get involved with the outdoors and purchase locally made arts and crafts. Be there at 5pm to be a part of Bland County's official designation as an Appalachian Trail Community and stick around for a Street Dance starting at 6pm. There will be food and live entertainment all day.

Sign up for a guided hike on the Appalachian Trail, a road bike race through the county or a horseback trail ride in the surrounding National Forest. Camp for free at Fort Bastian on Saturday night and spend Sunday exploring Bland County on your own.

Directions:
Take I-77 Exit 52, east 1 mile to downtown Bland, turn right on Main Street and the fairgrounds will be on the left behind BB&T.
