Driftin' Westward will kick off this season's Blacksburg Farmer's Market Music series. The show starts at 9 am. Come out for some Appalachian music and good wholesome farmer's products

A rag-tag group of musical misfits, hell bent on bringing their brand of Appalachian music to the masses, Driftin’ Westward brings a diverse arsenal of musical arrangements and enthusiastic live shows where ever they go. Comprised of K.T. Vandyke, George Aschmann, and Kevin VanDyke, the trio formed in Blacksburg, Virginia in the fall of 2009, and since the beginning has shown no signs of slowing down.

Bringing together various aspects of Bluegrass and Traditional music blended with numerous influences from Blues, Rock’N'Roll, Alternative Indie music, and topped off with foot stomping rhythms, ear pleasing melodies, ass-kicking harmonies, and deep insightful songwriting. Driftin' Westward is carving out their way across the East Coast leaving captivating audiences in their wake.
