Description:
Radford University will pay tribute to the land of the rising sun with its first Japanese Cultural Awareness in Appalachia Week. The final lecture is entitled: "Working with the Japanese" which will be held in Heth Hall, room 106. The lecture is presented by Radford University Professor Don Cunningham.

Featuring the film festival and a demonstration of Japanese sword fighting on Wednesday, April 4, the week will also include a series of lectures on contemporary society and cultural issues relating to business, gender and education in Japan. All events are free and open to the public. The aim is to expand the university's focus on international issues.
