Description:
The Blacksburg Community Band welcomes you to their Spring Concert on Sunday, April 15th in the Blacksburg High School Auditorium.

The concert is free however donations will be accepted at the door.

Following the concert, a free reception will be held for all guests and the band in the school cafeteria.

This Community Band ranges from 40 to 75 players from all corners of the New River Valley with diverse experience and backgrounds. The band which began in January of 1989 plays a wide variety of concert band music including marches, show tunes, light symphonic music, popular tunes, old favorites, and novelty music.

Membership in the band is open to individuals of all ages and ability levels from the New River Valley and surrounding areas. No auditions are required and there are no dues or fees. Members volunteer their time and talents. Current members range in age from teenagers to senior adults.
