The University Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. Wayne Gallops and graduate conducting assistant Lindsay Bill, present varied works for Wind Band and a world premier of Michael Burritt’s “Thunderstruck”, featuring the composer as guest soloist.
Also on the program is Leonard Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story”.
The concert is free and begins at 8pm in the Performance Hall in the Covington Center.
