Description:
TechNite is an annual celebration of the Roanoke - Blacksburg region’s technology community. It’s an opportunity to network with more than 400 leaders in business and innovation. The evening is highlighted with an awards ceremony, where leaders will be recognized in six categories: Rising Star, Entrepreneur, Regional Leadership, Innovation, Educator, and People's Choice.

The evening begins with a reception starting at 5:30 pm. The dinner and awards ceremony will begin at 7 pm. Dress is business attire.

The master of ceremonies for the evening is Mike Burnop. Virginia Tech Hall of Famer Mike Burnop is serving his 29th season in the booth as the network analyst. Burnop was a star tight end for the Hokies in the early 1970s and still holds the Virginia Tech record for receptions in a season by a tight end with 46.
