Description:
The Motor Mile Speedway presents the Star Country 150 and is celebrating Armed Forces Day. Enjoy local stock car racing action at one of the nicest facilities around featuring a variety of race classes. All races sanctioned by NASCAR.
Shelor Motor Mile Jeep is partnering with Motor Mile Speedway and the New River Valley Jeep Club to support local armed forces and the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program.
From now through May 19, any member or veteran of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve can bring his/her military id and receive 1 free admission to Motor Mile Speedway, 1 hot dog or chili dog and 1 soft drink for the Late Model Stock Car Speedway race at 7:00 pm that evening.
Tickets and Food Vouchers must be picked up at Shelor Motor Mile Jeep prior to speedway race and will not be available at Motor Mile Speedway.
Schedule:
Grandstand Gates Open: 11:30 am
Practice Begins: 2:00 pm
Race Qualifying: 4:45 pm
Green Flag: 7:00 pm
Races:
Limited Sportsmen (LS) - Two 50 Lap Races
Late Model Stock Car (LMSC) - 150 Laps each
Street Stock (SS) - 30 Laps
U-Car - 25 Laps
Races are subject to change and can be cancelled due to the weather.
