Join the Montgomery Museum and artist Joanna Sunshine in an opening reception for her Art Exhibit. Come and meet the artist.

Joanna Sunshine, an outstanding fiber artist, explores techniques from traditional loom to innovative contemporary fiber constructions. Her work spans the traditional to the avant-garde. Her exciting investigations of texture & natural material include sisal, jute and rope.

Joanna has been awarded numerous honors including the Allied Professions Award by the Virginia Society American Institute of Architects. Exhibits include The Virginia Museum of Fine Art, The Chrysler Museum, Virginia Tech’s Fine Art Gallery as well as being selected for numerous juried shows. Her commissioned work appears in many residential, religious & office buildings.

Montgomery Museum is located at 300 Pepper Street in Christiansburg.
