Dr. Robin Pulliam Harris, Radford University class of 2006 with degrees in both physics and chemistry, returns to talk about her postdoctoral research position at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville. Her talk is entitled "Astrochemistry--From the Terrestrial Laboratory to the Interstellar Medium".
She will talk specifically about her work in radio astronomy that focuses on identifying new molecules in deep space. Robin will also talk about the Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA) radio observatory in the high Chilean desert and its explorations of the interstellar environment.
The talk will be held in Radford University's Young Hall, room 402.
