Gillie's welcomes Hoop Dreams and Group Never in their Spring finale for their Friday Late Night shows.

Blacksburg's own Hoop Dreams plays big beat/indie/thrash music. The rickety newcomers have played countless shows over the past twelve months, ranging from much hyped showcase events to their friends’ house party. Buoyed by a pulsating, Peter Hook style bass their songs resemble an escapee from the post-punk era. Yet Hoop Dreams aren’t some raincoat wearing fraud. The band have a joyous sense of fun, in line with Swell Maps or even The Drums.

Local musicians are showcased on Thursdays and Saturdays at 7 pm. Friday night shows will begin at 10 pm and be 18 and up only.
