Description:
The Blacksburg Museum and Cultural Foundation and Log Cabin BBQ present Movies on the Lawn: The Muppets. The evening will begin with music by the Indian Run String Band beginning at 7 pm.
With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon. Starring Amy Adams, Jason Segel and Chris Cooper.
Admission and popcorn are FREE!
Movies begin at dark (approximately 8:30 pm). Bring a blanket or chair and purchase some delicious Log Cabin BBQ for the perfect picnic before the movie.
After the turnout of more than 300 attendees at the first movie, the layout will be changed slightly and will include a larger movie screen and the ability to also listen through an FM frequency if desired.
In the event of rain, each movie will be rescheduled to the next day (Saturday) at the same time.
