You are invited! The Creative Computing Studio will be showing the results of its collaborations. It is a studio class (Art 4544 and CS 4644): students from engineering and the arts work in to develop interactive works of art, using trans-disciplinary collaboration to explore the nature of innovation. We are inventing the future in new ways. This year’s theme is “everyday objects, seen anew”.

You can see the results of this semester’s e?orts in the new StudioICAT. StudioICAT is the prototype of the interdisciplinary research and teaching environment that the Institute for Creativity, the Arts and Technology (ICAT) is creating at the new Performing Arts Center under construction on Alumni Mall. ICAT faculty and students will investigate new media, new genres of expression, and new forms of education in ?exible, media-rich spaces.

StudioICAT is located on the first floor or Collegiate Square between Prices Fork and Turner Streets.
