The Hotel Floyd Concert Series welcomes Jesse Milnes & Friends to the stage.

Jesse Milnes was born on a sheep farm in Webster County, WV, and moved to Elkins, WV when he was nine. Among his main musical influences are his dad, Gerry Milnes, who taught him to fiddle and West Virginia's Yodeling Monk, Bruce Betler who taught him to sing. He plays fiddle, fingerpicking guitar, and sings with honky tonk band The Sweetback Sisters. He has toured internationally and performed on NPR programs such as A Prairie Home Companion and Mountain Stage. When he's not touring with the Sweetback Sisters, Jesse runs a fiddle repair shop out of his garage.

He will be playing old time, bluegrass, and country music from his brand new solo CD Bucking Mule primarily featuring his fingerstyle guitar playing, accompanied by Emily Miller (backing vocals, fiddle, guitar) Anna Roberts Gevalt (fiddle, banjo, vocals) and Joseph DeJarnette (stringbass).
