Coal mining was once a way of life and primary industry of Appalachian Virginia. Join The Coal Mining Heritage Association of Montgomery County’s President, Jimmie Price, and Vice President, Charles Church, for an evening of history about our Valley Coal Fields of Virginia!

View their traveling, mini-museum of coal and learn the difference between the coal of Montgomery, Pulaski and Wythe Counties as compared to that of the New River Valley. Mr. Price and Mr. Church encourage your questions following the presentation for a little Q&A and conversation!
