The US Forest Service and Giles County invite you to the Come Outside and Play at Glen Alton event on Saturday, June 2nd. Unplug your child and get them outside!

Scheduled Activities include:
- Mud Pie Kitchen
- Critters in the Water
- Naturalist Hikes
- Roam the grounds
- Eat a Hot Dog
- Walk to the Wetlands
- Check out our Giant Sand Pile!
- Kids only Fishing in the Upper Pond (no license needed)

What to Bring:
- Lawn chairs
- Sunscreen
- Picnic or snacks and drinks
- Fishing poles
- Sand shovel
- Towel and some extra clothes so you can play in the water

The event is sponsored by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, Trout Unlimited, Giles County, Virginia Master Naturalist NRV Chapter, US Forest Service and the American Hiking Society.
