The Blue Moon Coffee Shop is holding a Heavy Metal and Rock concert on Saturday, June 2nd. The concert features bands Theta Stage, Egos Aside and Compliant2One. The concert is also the CD Release party for Copmliant2One and their new CD will be available.

Theta Stage is composed four individuals who have convened in the mountains of southwest Virginia to create and experience music, without any preconceived vision, limitations, or expectations. Their desire is to create meaningful art that expresses their individual and collective voices, and to share those expressions with anyone willing to embrace them.

Theta Stage refuses to be categorized - striving to deliver a unique experience at every performance. Theta Stage refuses to compromise - finding satisfaction by obeying only instinct and submitting only to the power of the moment. They request only one thing from the potential listener: to set aside this madness we call life and search the boundless realm within for a new perspectives, new sensations, and new possibilities.

Egos Aside is an alternative rock band from Narrows, Virginia. Matt, Jon and Cody, have been playing music for over 11 years. Together and on different projects the love for music has driven them from the start. Each has had success in their own way but now the time has come to set EGOS ASIDE and shine in a new way.

Compliant 2 One (aka C21) is a hard rock band formed in January 2010 by members Chucky, Craig, and Zach, three individuals who share the same love for learning, creating, and performing music live. Hailing from Rich Creek, VA, C21 have had great success developing their slab of high gain fury both live and in the jam room. Playing covers by their favorite artists, such as Chevelle, Seether, and Metallica, along with powerful original compositions, C21 is sure to rock with honesty and passion no matter what, when, or where. With bass player Derick Linkous joining their ranks, C21 are ready to pursue their goal of restoring the glory of rock to the New River Valley and beyond!
