Gillie's welcomes Asheville, North Carolina's Ash Devine and The Folk Montage to the stage.

Award winning songwriter and caring clown Ash Devine plays a versatile Earthy Folk-Fusion, with a community-based frame. From the farmers market, to the Nursing home, to the wine bar, to the arts festival, to the child-care nursery, to the grocery store check out line, Ash Devine is pleasantly surprising people everywhere with her participatory musical style that invites everyone to feel at home. With musical roots the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virgina, her bluesy Appalachian influence shines through unique and heart felt finger-picked melodies of the Ukulele and Guitar.

Ash’s musical performances include selections of traditional songs with an occasional sing along twist, along with provocative and poetically insightful originals. Ash’s stage presence demands attention of the heart, and asks people to participate in the civil duty of song.
