Description:
The New River Valley Mushroom Club will return to survey Wildwood for its fungal denizens. We will meet at the parking lot on Main Street at 2:30 pm, split up and hike through the Park looking for fungi. All are welcome to join us.

We will then attempt to identify what we have found. This will be the second early summer foray. Other forays have gone out in early spring and in autumn, and have bee important for our understanding of the fungi of the Park.

All are welcome, but please to e-mail the webmaster at gcote@radford.edu or Becky Rader at rebeccahrader@hotmail.com so we have an idea of how many are coming. Wildwood is a sensitive area and we need to minimize our impact

Park at the Main Entrance to Wildwood Park at Main/Grove or the Sundell/Park Road lot. It is a 5 minute walk to the classroom in the center of the park.
