The 15th Annual Everett Lee Yearout Jr. Fishing Tournament and Essay Contest will be held on Saturday, June 9th at Claytor Lake State Park.
Registration is free however a fishing license is required. Contestants may fish from shore, dock or boat.
There are three age divisions: youth (11 and younger), teen (ages 12 to 17), and adult (ages 18 and up). The largest fish caught decides the winner in each category. Youth (11 and under), Teen (12 to 17) Adult (18 and up). Each age division contains the following categories: smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and pan fish. All contestants are expected to follow the tournament’s catch-and-release policy. A trophy is awarded for the largest overall fish in each age division.
The Essay theme for 2012 is: "The best time I had fishing was...".

Essays Turned in by: 12 pm
Weigh-Ins begins at 2 pm
