Boogieburg will perform all day and into the night on Saturday, June 23rd at Cabo Fish Taco as part of the Cabo Fish Taco's Beach Party for the Summer Solstice Festival.
Over 30 tons of sand will be brought in to Cabo to cover their outdoor area bringing the beach to Blacksburg. The party will feature live music, games, food and drinks.
Expect summer beach vibes like reggae, latin, funk, and swing with a Boogieburg twist on the sound system all day!
Boogieburg's maniac DJ's have over 12 years experience performing alongside acts like Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, Beats Antique, Big Gigantic, Nickodemus, SOJA, Ursula 1000, Tittsworth and members of Thievery Corporation from San Francisco to Baltimore and NYC to Miami for such companies as Red Bull, Burton, and Scion. Their Spark Arrester releases on record labels in Greece, San Francisco and Atlanta with artists such as Featurecast, Mr. Scruff, Basement Freaks, Wax Tailor, DJP, & Parov Stelar have reached TurntableLab's "BOMB!" status, topped sales charts, and have moved many fine booties around the world.
Early style, expect loads of on-point hip hop, funk, latin, balkan & reggae then once everybody gets nice 'n loose, nothing but the freshest from the world of ghetto funk, electro, disco, house, dubstep and drum 'n bass.
