The Radford City Parks and Recreation Department continues their 2012 concert series with the band Big Dog and The Fat Cats.

The Big Dog and The Fat Cats are a local swing band playing many of the old tunes from a a list of music that spans over 100 years of jazz. Well known songs like 'When the Saints go Marching In,' are mixed with the big band standards of 'Satin Doll' and contemporary swing numbers such as 'Zoot Suit Riot.' The band also performs all of the ballroom dance styles to include Cha Cha, Bossa Nova, Tango, Samba, Waltz, Polka, and Light Rock to name a few.

All concerts will begin at 7-8 pm at the Gazebo at Bisset Park. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a beautiful evening of great entertainment.
