Over $5,000 in cash and prizes will be given out to the winners. Winners will be given out for each species in each category. And the BEST part…you can fish for any or all of these species, with who ever you like, where ever you like, how ever you like, as long as you are fishing the New River in Giles County from McCoy Falls to Stateline Falls.

Wade, bank or boat fishing is allowed. Only artificial baits can be used.

Note: You must bring a digital camera and a valid fishing license. Measuring device and score sheets will be provided.

Directions to Whitt-Riverbend Park: To get to the park from Route 460 Bypass, take the Pearisburg/Ripplemead exit towards Ripplemead. Follow Ripplemead Road (Rt. 636) across the railroad tracks and along the river to the entrance to the park.
