Description:
The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley and the Town of Pulaski proudly present The Jackson Park Concert Series. The Java Brothers take the stage for the finale of the concert series on August 24th.
For this show, the Java Brothers will also don their alter-egos "The Dr Pepper All-Stars" for a re-creation of the "Dr Pepper Time Radio Program", a classic Roanoke radio program from the 1940's. Fiddler Ralph Berrier Jr.'s grandfather played on Roanoke radio in the '40s and this show is based on those old-time programs.
The Java Brothers are a contemporary bluegrass band from Radford who formed during the weekly Radford Fiddle and Banjo Jam. The band plays classic and progressive bluegrass throughout Southwest Virginia. The Java Brothers have a fun live show that mixes standard Bluegrass and Newgrass with fiery original tunes.
