Description:
Floyd Yoga Jam is a three day music festival with three full days of yoga classes and workshops in the magical Floyd County, Virginia on Labor Day weekend beginning on Friday, August 31st and continuing through Sunday, September 2nd.
17 bands on two stages, onsite car & RV camping, local beer, wine & healthy eats, firewalking, performing & interactive arts, hoop dancing, herbalist talks, speakers, sustainability, drumming, aerial dancers, fire dancers, kid's area, slacklining, meditation sanctuary, vendor village, healing oasis, hangout tent, and shaded creekside.
The concert headliners are: Trevor Hall, Brother Joscephus and the Love Revival Revolution Orchestra, and The Ragbirds. Local acts include: The Kind, The Alliens, William Walter & Tucker Rogers, Morwenna Lasko & Jay Punn, Sol Flo, and Jay Byrd.
Yoga instructors include Dana Trixie Flynn, Andrea Boyd and Jeffrey Cohen, Katie Silcox, Stephanie Keach, Asheville Aerial Arts Troupe, Yoga Slackers and many more.
The festival site, Burnette Farm, will win your heart with its gentle rolling meadows, large shade trees, and the creek waters that flow throughout. There will be two large yoga tents with workshops running from early morning sunrise stretches to late night, black light, DJ accompanied flows. The live music stages are going to be jam packed with soul shining, chakra charging, powerful grooves. Ad to that an eco-vendor village, holistic practitioners, healthy eats, local brews, flowing wine, and a variety of interactive experiences and you have our inspirational vision. Not to mention plenty of room for participants to car or primitive camp onsite, creating a lively neighborhood atmosphere for the weekend.
Three day passes for the festival are on sale now for $100 and will continue to rise in price as the festival nears. Single day and two day passes as well as car camping and RV camping passes are also available. Additionally, day passes that do not include camping are available.
