Hailing from Floyd County, Atticus Stovall uses influences from blues, folk, country, rock, and instrumental music to create a versatile style which embodies all of the above.
Since moving to Charlottesville he has been a key part of several bands including Ulterior Motive, The Turkey Whisperers, and the duo: Sour Mash Blues Band.
The album "My Soul" is the newest release from Atticus Stovall. Created over 3 years of his music career, My Soul shows the progression and development of a writer/musician.
Since the finalization of his recent album, Stovall continues to write, record, and record for his next album. All of his albums have been recorded in a "bedroom overdub" style which has allowed Stovall to be the only player on all of the tracks utilizing every instrument on the album from guitar to drums.
