Join the Blacksburg Price House Nature Center on Saturday, July 21st for a special program entitled "Return of the Wildcats of Virginia". Fun for all ages.
Did you know that your pet kitty cat has a wild relative here in Virginia? Find out about the habits and habitat of the North American Bobcat, as well as the controversy behind the elusive eastern Mountain Lion.
Come get your face painted to resemble a wild cat, and check out a full mountain lion pelt on display.
Limited parking is available in the Nature Center Driveway, on Wharton Street, and within two short blocks on Clay Street at spout spring parking strip and along Church Street in the public parking lot.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Note: Next time you empty a tennis ball container, please save it and bring it by...we need about 25 of them for our SEEDlings camp. They make awesome nature collection containers!
