Are you afraid of the dark? Curious about the sounds of the night? Join USDA Forest Service Interpretive Specialist Meghan Stump at the pond to get acquainted with nocturnal living and the adaptations necessary for nighttime survival.
Bring bug spray and a flashlight if desired, however, all flashlights will be covered with red cellophane to protect our night vision.
Participants will meet by the Pandapas Pond Bulletin Board before the hike begins.
The hike is weather permitting.

Pandapas Pond is about 15 minutes northwest of Blacksburg, Virginia and located off of US-460.
Directions:
From Blacksburg, travel on US-460 West. (About 7 miles)
Turn left onto Forest Service Road 808
Follow signs to the lower parking lot
