The YMCA offers a free fall class preview of "Learn the Ocarina" on Monday, July 30th in the Y Center Conference Room.

The Ocarina ("ocarina" means "little goose" in Italian) is a small flute-like instrument made from clay. In this free work-shop you’ll learn more about Italian style Ocarina in Alto-C. You’ll get a preview of the instrument and how to play it.

Instructor Jihye Lovelace has taught the Ocarina for 6 years in Korea and Japan.

The preview is free, but registration is required.
