Description:
The 1st Annual Kickoff Tailgate Party will be held on Sunday, September 2nd at First & Main in Blacksburg. Show off your Tech spirit with friends and family the day before the first football game of the season while listening to music performed by The Key West Band and special guest Spoon Fight.
Enjoy great food and drinks from all of the First & Main Restaurants and shop the unique VT arts and craft vendors.
This family friendly event offers multiple kids activities including a moon bounce, ring toss, face painting, and more. Take part in VT trivia and you could win prizes like gift cards, t-shirts, and VT gear. Special guests include the VT Cheerleaders, the Hokie Bird, and other guest appearances as well.
Tickets are available for pre-sale online at http://firstandmaintailgate.com/tick.html or at any First & Main Shop or Restaurant. Tickets are available for both drinking and non-drinking. Drinking tickets come with two drink tickets. Kids 10 and under are free.
The event is rain or shine. No outside coolers or pets allowed.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and Corps of Cadets of Virginia Tech.
