Join USDA Forest Service Interpretive Specialist Meghan Stump every Saturday at Pandapas Pond for a special children's program. This Saturday enjoy the Forest Service's program "The Importance of Wetlands".
Wetlands are SO much more than a body of water! Learn about the roles of the unique plants, animals, and soil of wetland ecosystems and how they work together to prevent floods and capture sediment and pollution.

Pandapas Pond is about 15 minutes northwest of Blacksburg, Virginia and located off of US-460.
Directions:
From Blacksburg, travel on US-460 West. (About 7 miles)
Turn left onto Forest Service Road 808
Follow signs to the lower parking lot
