The Blacksburg Volunteer Rescue Squad will be holding their annual Open House on Saturday, October 27th at their headquarters in downtown Blacksburg on Progress Street.

Activities include:
- Hands on First Aid for Kids Instruction/Demonstration
- Vehicle Extrication Demo (begins at noon)
- Hot Dogs & Hamburgers
- and a whole lot more!

There is no football game this weekend so come down and meet your local heroes.

The rescue squad is located at 200 Progress Street.
