Radford University, in partnership with Main Street Radford, Radford Chamber of Commerce and Radford City Tourism, will hold the inaugural Southern Sunday Welcome event on Sunday, August 26th at the Radford Farmer's Market.

The event will welcome new and returning Radford University student to the city of Radford in an inviting, fun and informal manner. All area residents are invited to join us for the festivities to experience all that Radford has to offer.

Events include:
• Radford Welcome Rally
• Live Music
• Contests, Games & Fun including Cornhole, Face Painting & more
• Interactive Displays of the Area's History, Outdoor Activities & Festivals
• Taste of Radford - Sampling of foods from the Farmer's Market and area restaurants
• Light Refreshments (Sweet Tea, Lemonade & more)
• City Bus Tours of the area pointing out interesting facts and locations
