Description:
The Great Outdoors Expo will occur on Labor Day Weekend from Friday, August 31st to Saturday, September 1st along the New River at Glen Lyn Park in Giles County. Farm, forest, field and fish, education and fun!

Enjoy seminars, demonstrations and exhibits that will engage all ages. A hands-on learning environment that will also entertain you!

Friday Events:
• 1:00 pm - Forest Management "I own a Forest, now what?"
• 1:00 pm - Pasture Management Seminar/Demonstation - Charles Litton
• 2:00 pm - Beekeeping Seminar and Exhibit
• 3:00 pm - Skyline Soil and Water Conservation District Seminar

Kids Events:
• Milking cow contest, feed the pig game, duck pond, etc.
• 4-H Petting Zoo
• 4-H Projects Show
• Agriculture Inflatables for youth
• Pony Rides by Riverbend Saddle Club
