Join the Blacksburg Price House Nature Center on Saturday, August 25th for a special program entitled "Sustainable Seas". Fun for all ages.
Virginia Tech Biological Sciences majors will be taking the lead to teach us about conserving ocean ecosystems like coral reefs and fishy food webs, and will help you learn about how your cocktail shrimp were farmed. They will have a hands-on display, an activity on food webs, and more!
Limited parking is available in the Nature Center Driveway, on Wharton Street, and within two short blocks on Clay Street at spout spring parking strip and along Church Street in the public parking lot.
Admission is free, donations are welcome.
Note: Next time you empty a tennis ball container, please save it and bring it by...we need about 25 of them for our SEEDlings camp. They make awesome nature collection containers!
