Description:
The 225th Anniversary of the Constitution will be celebrated at the Christiansburg Library on Saturday, September 15th and on Constitution Day, Monday, September 17th.

Activities on September 15 begin at 11 am when historian Scott Crawford explores several 17th and 18th century works of art along with architectural structures, including Jefferson’s Monticello and Poplar Forest, to uncover a hidden force that possibly helped to spark the American Revolution.

Between 1-3 pm, there will be history trivia games and the opportunity to meet George Washington, portrayed by a Christiansburg resident.

Crawford, in addition to having a passion for solving mysteries surrounding historical paintings, is Vice President for Relationship Development at Member One Federal Credit Union.

Charles “Dutch” Tubman, the George Washington reenactor, enjoys reading history when not working at Norfolk Southern Corporation.
