Barnes & Noble is hosting a Poetry and Spoken Word Night from on Thursday, September 27th with featured speaker Lisa Ress.

Join them and bring your original works to read or share one of your favorite author's pieces. This is a great opportunity to listen to and network with our talented local wordsmiths.

Lisa has an MA in English from Hollins College and an MFA in poetry from Cornell. She's had well over 100 poems published in a variety of literary magazines and anthologies. She's been the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant. Her second book, Object Relations, was published by Wilder pub.
