Explore The Prophecies Of The Mayan Astronomers at the Radford University Planetarium with "2012: Mayan Prophecies". The free planetarium show will be shown each Tuesday and Thursday through November 15th.
Visit the Classic Mayan cities of Uxmal, Chichen Itza, Tikal, and Palenque to discover how the Maya aligned their temples to watch their sky gods and used interlocking calendars to record the past and predict the future.
Explore pyramids towering above the rainforest, designed as observatories to follow the sun. Experience the apocalypse of the Maya and discover how our fate in 2012 may be foretold in Mayan Prophecies.

The RU Planetarium is located on the ground floor of Curie Hall in Room 43.
Due to the construction of the new Center for the Sciences building, please enter the conjoined buildings Reed and Curie Halls through the Reed Hall entrance, on the main campus side. Go to the back of the building, take the elevator down one floor, and the planetarium will be the second door to your right after you get off the elevator.
