Sun Music Hall welcomes the musicians of One Beat to the stage on Friday, September 28th.

OneBeat is a new international cultural exchange by the U.S. Department of State that celebrates the transformative power of the arts through the creation of original, inventive music, and people-to-people diplomacy.

Thirty-two exceptional young musicians from around the world will come together to write, produce, and perform new music. Artists come from a wide range of musical traditions -- hip hop, electronic, roots, jazz, rock, experimental, and more -- these 32 Fellows from 21 countries each have a unique and powerful commitment to using music to inspire, engage, educate, and transform society.

The group will also lead engagement events with local youth, and develop strategies for using music to make a positive impact on our local and global communities. OneBeat is an initiative of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), and is produced by Found Sound Nation.

The doors open at 7 pm and the music starts at 8 pm.
