The Blacksburg Library presents an Electric Vehicles Event on Tuesday, September 18th as part of Sustainable Blacksburg's 2012 Celebrate Sustainability Week.
Dr. L. David Roper, Professor Emeritus and former VT Physics Department Head, will discuss the current status, long-term prospects and key challenges of electric vehicles.
Schedule:
- 6:00-8:30 pm: View electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the library parking lot.
- 6:30-7:15 pm: Dr. Roper’s presentation about electric vehicles.
- 7:15-7:45 pm: Panel discussion by electric and plug-in drivers
