There is no fee to register however participants are strongly encouraged to donate whatever they can to fight Alzheimer's.
Description:
The Alzheimer's Association is hosting a Walk To End Alzheimer's on Saturday, September 15th on the Henderson Lawn between College Avenue and the Alumni Mall in downtown Blacksburg.
Participants may register as individuals or as teams. Participants who raise $100 or more will receive the official Walk t-shirt.

3:30 pm - Opening Ceremony
After the Opening Ceremony, participants will begin the Walk.
Participants will be asked to choose a Promise Flower with a color representing their reason for walking. Participants then write a personal message on the flower and will raise it when their reason for walking is called. All flowers will be aligned and displayed together to create the Promise Garden. Upon returning to Henderson Lawn the participants will be able to walk through the Promise Garden.
At the Closing ceremony, the top five fundraising teams and the top five fundraising participants will be recognized. Once the Closing Ceremonies have finished, participants will be able to take their Promise Flower home.
All money raised will be donated to The Alzheimer's Association fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
