As part of Blacksburg's 2012 Celebrate Sustainability Week, join in a special tour of the ICTAS-II building, Virginia Tech's first commissioned research facility, on Thursday, September 20th.

Come tour the Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Sciences' (ICTAS) building II, which recently received LEED Gold Certification! The tour will include an overview of the facility and the sustainable features that contributed to the building attaining LEED Gold.

Celebrate Sustainability 2012, a collaborative effort of Virginia Tech, the Town of Blacksburg and Sustainable Blacksburg will be held September 18 through 20, 2012. A more unhurried version of previous years’ Sustainability Week events, this year’s theme, Celebrate Sustainability, encourages us all to take a deep breath and look around at the “Green” efforts that are part of our wonderful community – and to celebrate all that has been accomplished.
