Shelor Motor Mile is excited to host a local talent competition for area high school students and award schools and students close to $50,000 in prize money. The finale of the Growing the Future Talent Show will be held at the Christiansburg High School Auditorium on Saturday, October 20th and feature 18 acts. The hosts for the evening are K92's Mornin’ Thang: Danny, Zack and Miss Monica.

Each local high school will hold a talent show at their school and select two representatives to move on to the finale show. Two representatives from each local high school in the New River Valley will then compete to win the Grand Prize of $2,500 for themselves and $20,000 for their school.

The Growing the Future Talent Show Finale will be held October 20th at the Christiansburg High School Auditorium at 7 pm.

Local high schools participating include Floyd County, Auburn, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Radford, Blacksburg, Giles County and Narrows.

Tickets can be purchased at the individual schools. Each school will receive 110 tickets to sale. 100% of ticket proceeds support the school where purchased.
